Terms of Service

Last updated: September 4, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of calltotext.ai and the CalltoText.ai platform (the “Service”), operated by CalltoText (“we,” “us,” “our”).

1. The Service

CalltoText.ai provides missed-call text-back and AI voice automation for contractors. When a contractor’s incoming call goes unanswered and is forwarded to our system, we send an automated text to the caller to capture their name, email, address, and job details, then relay that information to the contractor.

2. Contractor Accounts

  • You must provide accurate account and billing information.
  • You are responsible for configuring call forwarding correctly on your business phone number.
  • You may only use the Service for legitimate business inquiries — not for marketing blasts, spam, or unsolicited outreach.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to receive and respond to calls/texts on the number connected to the Service.

3. SMS Compliance

Contractors using the Service agree that:

  • The Service only texts individuals who have called the contractor’s business directly (inbound-initiated contact).
  • End customers may opt out at any time by replying STOP, and the Service will honor that request.
  • Contractors will not use the Service to send unsolicited marketing texts.

4. Billing

  • Subscription fees are billed monthly via Stripe.
  • Plans and pricing are described at calltotext.ai/pricing.
  • You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • No refunds for partial billing periods, except as required by law.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Send unlawful, harassing, or deceptive messages
  • Violate any applicable telecom or SMS regulation (including TCPA)
  • Attempt to circumvent opt-out requests

6. Service Availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for missed leads due to third-party outages (e.g., SignalWire, carrier networks).

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CalltoText is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost business or lost leads, arising from use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including misuse of SMS messaging or non-payment.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
